Father’s Day
Tomorrow is Father’s Day… Since I have to work tomorrow in the morning, we celebrated it today… Went to plaza azteca for dinner and then mom and I went to best buy to get dad’s gift…
Got him a Logitech Harmony 550… It’s a really cool universal remote… instead of conventional remotes, you actually program this remote through the computer… and you can set it all up on there… It has support for 100,000+ devices and is really really simple to program… Want to watch a DVD? Just press the watch DVD button, and the TV, DVD Player, and the Audio receiver all turn on and change to the correct settings… just pop the DVD in and you are set to go… much better than the 5 or so remotes we were using before…
I recommend any of the Logitech harmony remotes as well as any Logitech product… never have had any issues with them at all…
Well i am going to go work on getting a mythTV backend working on this server…
