Spring break flew by
Well spring break flew by at the end…
We added an eighth team to the hockey league so I wrote a new schedule for the rest of the season…
Thursday night / Friday morning I spent riding along with a York County deputy all night from 6pm to 6am… It was a slow night call wise… Started off with a single vehicle accident where a 94 corvette ended up in a ditch. Afterwards we had to take a report about credit card fraud… After that we tried to go to a BBQ place for dinner but found out that they close at 8pm… so we decided to head to subway for the first time… while waiting in line there was an apparent assault at a gas station down the road so we flew out of there and headed down to the gas station where both the victim and attacker were gone, so nothing we could do… Then we headed back to subway for dinner. After dinner, another deputy pulled over a drunk driver and we went to back him up… I got to watch him administer the sobriety tests and what not… The driver ended up just being over the legal limit and was taken to jail for the night and his vehicle towed. Later in the night I got to watch the video from the in-dash cam of the stop and the driver appeared much more drunk than he actually was… he was all over the road… That was pretty much it for the night as far as calls… we just drove all around York County… spotted a lot of deer and actually almost hit one…
Friday night was the concert… We met erin, kelly, jen, and tyler at olive garden in Hampton where we had dinner… After dinner trav, dave, erin, kelly, and I all went to the concert which turned out to be a lot better than I expected. A lot of fun…
Saturday: Nan and Pap came down for the weekend… So I hung out at home for the weekend and we went to Cheeburger Cheeburger for my birthday dinner which, as always, was delicious.
Sunday: I left around 4 or so to come back to school… gave matt a ride back as well…
Now its back to the daily grind… Lots of homework and projects to work on…
J!
